Marketing and Public Relations

With tighter budgets, many companies are trimming their full-time marketing staff. But their need for quality marketing collateral remains. Many firms are outsourcing the development of their marketing/PR collateral to freelance experts like myself.

Click on this image to view a larger version After earning a BBA in Marketing (Advertising and Journalism) way back in 1986, I hit the business world - just as graphic design and computers were getting acquainted. For the next ten years, I lent my growing expertise to a variety of firms, usually in the capacity of Marketing Director. Most of these companies had a limited budget, so I became (out of both necessity and aptitude) a one-man marketing/PR/advertising/creative department.

My experience is wide-ranging. I have written scores of profitable, cost-effective sales letters. I took the raw data from rooms full of engineers and wrote manuals, proposals and government specs. I have applied my copy and design skills to the development of over 1500 trade ads. I've done it all: researched products, written copy, photographed products and equipment, designed catalogs, managed printing jobs and coordinated distribution of the finished pieces. And of course I've authored hundreds of web sites, produced videos and CD presentations. I can (and in many cases do) serve all the functions of an "in-house" agency. At a fraction of the cost and exposure.

I can assist with or handle all of your marketing/PR functions, including:
  • Brochures
  • Catalogs
  • Parts/price lists
  • Advertisements
  • News releases
  • Ghost-written articles
  • Copy writing and editing
  • Web development / update / maintenance
  • Multimedia
Two more points well worth making: One, I am adept in communicating technical, esoteric messages in an easily-understood manner. And two, I only accept as much work as I can handle; work is very rarely subcontracted. Please contact me and discuss your needs.
